Technologies of artificial insemination cattle are actively used in livestock farms Russia. At the same time, quality control semen production does not involve testing bull for microorganisms genus Mycoplasma. The active use molecular genetic methods allows rapid determination and species identification pathogenic mycoplasmas; however, it indicate viability identified pathogen. paper aims to study mycoplasma contamination products presented on Russian market determine conformity results Polymerase Chain Reaction [PCR] method traditionally microbiological method. presents first occurrence Mycoplasma bovis, M. bovigenitalium, californicum, Ureaplasma diversum production. We investigated 447 samples cryopreserved bulls-producers various breeds from breeding centers USA, Great Britain, Netherlands, supplying these market. analysis shows a high frequency DNA (up 70.9%). Besides, bovigenitalium appeared be most frequently detected type those tested. Cases identifying several types mycoplasmas one sample were revealed: 58.8% studied 15% international centers. that positive according PCR when 65 was demonstrated using 94% samples. correspondence detection ureaplasmas 88.3%. obtained prevalence need improve system material order prevent spread infections technologies.
